- a - Angle of redirection
- Fa - Force on one end of rope (e.g. load)
- Fb - Force on opposite end of rope (e.g. raise)
- Fr - Redirection force vector
Enter values for angle a, force (Fa and Fb) and the calculator will determine the redirection force vector (Fr).
Value should be between 0 and 180.
Do NOT add Fa to Fb, e.g. enter a value of 2 for a 2 person load.
